When & Where is ACE25?

ACE25 will be held June 8-11, 2025 at the Colorado Convention Center in downtown Denver, Colorado. 

Opening General Session will be held on Monday, June 9, 2025. Please continue to refer to the ACE Schedule at a Glance page for updates.

When & Where was ACE24?

ACE24 was held June 10 - 13, 2024 in Anaheim, California. The conference took place at the Anaheim Convention Center, 800 W Katella Ave, Anaheim, CA 92802.

What is the ACE24 cancellation policy?

AWWA must receive cancellations in writing. Phone cancellations are not accepted. All cancellations dated on or before April 20, 2024 will receive a refund, minus a 25% administrative fee. After April 20, 2024 cancellations will not be refunded; however, substitute registrants are welcome. Email requests for substitutions or cancellations to service@awwa.org or fax requests to 303.347.0804.

Where can I find the full schedule of ACE sessions?

ACE25 sessions will be released in January 2025.

I am a speaker - where do I go for information?

The Speaker Portal will be the hub for all speaker related information, deadlines, creative commons, registration, who-to-contact, bios and more. Visit our I am a Presenter webpage for your link to the Speaker Portal. 

Onsite, visit the Presenter Ready Room to access the Presentation Management System and to speak with AWWA staff.

Visa Requests- How do I obtain a letter of invitation from AWWA?

If an invitation letter is needed to secure your Visa to attend ACE, or if you wish to find information on Embassy, Visa Waiver Program, or additional details please submit the international request form. Requests will be honored for attendees and presenters with the intent to register.

How do I access my Certificate of Completion?

Visit ACE Continuing Education to learn more and be sure to view this Tutorial Video for mobile app and certificate instructions.

AWWA will provide Certificates of Completion for sessions attended in-full. It is your responsibility to know the requirements of your unique licensing location. Each agency is different. 

Instructions to access AWWA Certificates of Completion: 

  1. Wait until July 30, then visit www.awwa.org
  2. Click My Account in the upper right corner
  3. Login using your username and password (or reset if forgotten)
  4. In your account, select 'My Transcripts' from the left-hand navigation menu 
  5. Click the 'Download' button next to each session certificate

Be sure to read the disclaimer at www.awwa.org/credits and allow 60 days certificate processing time.

What are the Conference Policies?


Personal Information
As part of your event registration personal contact data such as name, address, and email were collected and may be used by AWWA and approved third parties. The American Water Works Association (AWWA) Privacy Policy outlines its commitment to protecting user privacy, including compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).  Visit awwa.org/privacy-policy for additional information. 
AWWA will take appropriate measures to ensure the security of its information systems and the data collected during the event and expects all participants to use AWWA's digital resources responsibly and in accordance with applicable policies.
As a reminder, by allowing your badge to be scanned for lead retrieval, you are providing your full contact information (address, email, phone, etc.) to the exhibitors.

Photography & Information Release
By registering for this event, conference participants agree to allow AWWA to use their likeness in any AWWA-related production or publication, including, but not limited to, emails, social media posts, printed materials, videos, and websites. 
Additionally, participants agree to receive show-related and promotional emails from conference hosts and sponsors directly or through a third-party distributor. At no time, however, will attendees' email addresses be sold or otherwise directly disclosed to exhibitors or conference vendors.

Social Media, Camera, and Cell Phones
AWWA encourages the use of social media during our conferences and events.
Filming or live streaming of any presentation, session or exhibit hall booth is prohibited without the permission of the presenter or exhibitor. Violation may result in confiscation of the media and removal from the event. This policy is intended to protect the intellectual property and hard work of both our presenters and exhibitors. AWWA’s conference proceedings will contain all presentations and additional materials provided by the presenters who wish to have their information published. 
Attendees are asked to be respectful of their colleagues by silencing all mobile devices before entering meeting rooms.

While AWWA has taken care to ensure the qualifications of speakers, presenters, and moderators at this conference, the opinions, comments, and other views made by a participant in his/her presentation(s) are not necessarily those of AWWA nor its officers, directors, planning committee, or staff.
Participants must respect the confidentiality of any information shared during the conference, including presentations, discussions, and networking conversations, and refrain from disclosing or misusing such information.

Health & Safety of Attendees
AWWA’s first core principle is the protection of public health. This principle will continue to guide our conference environments now and in the future. AWWA will observe safety measures based on information from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local facilities.
AWWA is currently planning for the following health and safety measures at all AWWA conferences:

  • Masks are optional for all attendees. AWWA will have masks available.
  • Physical distancing is encouraged.
  • Hand washing is encouraged, and hand sanitizing stations will be available. 
  • Waiver review and release is required to attend.
