We are now accepting abstracts for individual presentations, special topic sessions, and posters. Review our resources and be sure to add service@awwa.org and EducationServices@awwa.org to your safe senders list.

Abstract submissions deadline is extended to 4:00 p.m. Mountain Time on Thursday, September 24, 2026.

Who can submit an abstract?

Anyone with knowledge, experience, research, lessons learned, case studies, or practical applications relevant to the water sector is encouraged to submit.

Do I need to be an AWWA member to submit an abstract?

No. Membership is not required to submit or present at ACE. You can learn about AWWA membership here.

Who should submit the abstract?

A Submitter should be the Primary Author and is expected to serve as the Presenter. AWWA will use the submitter’s contact information for submission-related and conference communications.

Can I update my contact information after I begin my submission?

Some fields are pulled directly from your AWWA account and may be locked. If you need to update a locked field, contact us for assistance.

Can I add or change co-authors after submitting my abstract?

Co-author information should be entered as completely and accurately as possible during submission. Submitters/Primary Authors may edit their submissions until the abstract deadline on September 10, 2026.

If my abstract is not selected for a podium presentation, can it be considered for a Special Topic Poster Session?

Yes. During submission, you may indicate whether you would like your abstract considered for a Special Topic Poster Session if a podium presentation is not available.

Do presenters receive complimentary registration?

While many registration types will be available, AWWA does not offer a presenter or moderator registration discount for ACE.
