WE Golf Tournament

There is no better way to kick off ACE25 in Denver than by joining us for a morning of golf, networking, and philanthropy. This exciting event will take place on Sunday, June 8, at 7:30 a.m. at City Park Golf Course in Denver, CO—one of the most sought-after courses in the area. We’re expecting another sellout, and we would love for you to participate in this great event!
This year, the Annual Water Equation (WE) Golf Tournament, presented by CoBank, will benefit the Dr. James K. Edzwald Scholarship. The Scholarship recognizes graduate students pursuing research on documenting climate change effects on water quality and treatment and/or resilient treatment methods for supplies with algae, Cyanobacteria, natural organic matter, and/or contaminants of emerging concern to the drinking water industry.
This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with industry professionals while supporting Water Equation’s mission of investing in the next generation of the water workforce. WE Race for Water 5K
Sunday, June 8, 7:30 – 10:00 a.m. I Sculpture Park, Denver Performing Arts Center Complex
The annual WE Race for Water 5K marks the start of ACE25 in downtown Denver. Water Equation hosts the Race for Water 5K to support the Community Engineering Corps, a partnership between AWWA, the American Society of Civil Engineers, and Engineers Without Borders-USA. Snacks and swag will be provided.
Community Engineering Corps brings together underserved communities across the U.S. needing technical support and teams of volunteers from our founding partner network dedicated to engineering with empathy. Services provided span the civil infrastructure sector, including drinking water, wastewater, structural, transportation, stormwater, site development, geotechnical, agricultural, and energy.
You may add your 5K registration to your ACE registration when you register or, if you have already registered for ACE, you may email we@awwa.org to register for the 5K. We hope to see you out there!

AWWA merchandise will be available in the pavilion, and all sales will go directly to benefit Water Equation. WE provides funding for workforce advancements, scholarships, students, young professionals, and Community Engineering Corps. WE is committed to fulfilling the critical need to ensure that the water community has the necessary workforce to provide clean and safe water to communities in North America.
