Welcome to ACE26
With a walkable city layout and three major airports, ACE26 conference attendees in Washington, D.C., will experience the best in education, networking, and business while surrounded by opportunities for culture, history, and exploration.
Getting to Washington D.C.
By Plane: The Washington, D.C. area is served by three major airports: Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD), and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI). DCA is the closest to the city, while IAD handles many international flights. BWI also offers access to the city via train and other transport options. All three have various public transit and ride-sharing options to help travelers reach their destinations.
By Train: If train travel is more your style, Amtrak has several rail lines that serve D.C.’s Union Station and is connected to the D.C. Metro on the Red Line. Union Station is in the heart of downtown and a short walk or bus ride away from the convention center and conference hotels.
Getting Around D.C.
Washington, D.C.’s Metro connects all corners of D.C. with Virginia and Maryland, offering a quick, budget-friendly way to explore the region. With service to both Reagan National and Dulles airports, it’s ideal for commuters and visitors alike, and every ride helps reduce the carbon footprint of events and travel across the city.
